ext2 (0504) - day 17: premiere

ultimately, the lesson here is time management. i'd rather not talk about THAT issue though.

meanwhile, noone found anything really relaly wrong with my movie, so i don't have any real reason to drop.

if anything, it's more encouragement to keep working.

but they did give me positive feedback, which i have written down already.

ext2 (0427) - day 16: presentation

i've been really thinking about my position in ext2 lately.

the time constraints are tiring me out, but it wouldn't be so much of an issue if i wasn't dying in physics. giving up one frees up time for the other, but the question is which. mostly i've decided i'll let go of physics since i assume it'll be at the bottom of my 10 units, but students in the ext2 class have been dropping like flies, i think we've lost 4 within the first 2 weeks of this term, strong combatitants too, so i've been wondering where it is i stand.

this week's lesson was about pulling apart people's major works to see what they're doing right/wrong. i volunteered to be aired next week so that i know where i'm at, so i guess the dud film shall be aired.

i don't know what else i can say here.

i intend to finish the script asap so i can show many people (english teachers and priests alike) to test both its meaning and presentation are effective. i have a number of other alternative ideas that i have to talk about with our teacher though.

tuesday will reveal the truth though, i also must finish my report.

push push. time time.

ext2 (0420) - day 15: film

i haven't written or posted anything all holidays, even though i considered it, even thought of what i was going to write, but in the end other things got in the way. so ultimately this week's reflection is about the holidays as well as today's lesson, which are linked anyway.

a real bother was taht i couldn't get my hands on the priest in charge of the church where i wnted to film some of my scenes. i went on the first thursday of the holidays and found out he'd be gone for the week, and he wasn't there either on the following thursday either (the day before filming) but i did manage to get on the phone with him on friday night (after filming) and got the ok.

in the meantime.. is houldn't have left it so late to work on the script, i should've at least allowed my actors to learn it rather than showing them on the day. one also could not make it so i had to bring in a sub from ext2 class, i knew this was gonna be the first take anyway, and we would re-do it all anyway, this was all just for test.

in the end i didn't script the whole thing, since we wouldn't be in the chruch anyway, so i made an alternative script (not as long though) and it was tough not being able to write dialogue between teenage girls. so i asked around for some help, and got some, in fact i got quite a bit of other insight also.

this holidays was also useful for watching and reading other texts taht helped me, mind you.

anyway, on the day of filming, my tripod was misplaced so i went ahead with handheld, but my actors arrived late, half an hour and about an hour respectively. but ultimately, we got all the shots done from the script down, but next time it'd be a good idea that they see the script prior to the day. much prior to the day.

i edited the film on the weekend before school commenced, but i didn't get it finished due to other assignments. but so far, things are looking well.

noone has given any negative feedback, at least none of the people i shwoed yesterday (including the teacher) i was afraid it would be too cliche or too angst, or both. but that's also what i'm afraid of. noone is being particularly critical of it, but i suppose we should wait for my day to be analyzed by everyone. but perhaps it's good because it just seems like a regular movie.. i dunno.

the teacher gave quite a bit of advice. for one, i should make a script then find location to suit it, instead of finding location then scripting based on that. secondly, the teacher has a boom mike if i need it, if wind is a problem, or echos.

i did have this idea about deaf and blind people though.. but i've already begun with this. perhaps i should ask around before i get too deep into this. but time is running out. only 7 weeks left.

ext2 (0316) - day 14: seminar

final day of seminars, and final day of ext2 for the term.

i'm not much in a reflecty mood right now.. coz i'm tired. i've been working on my ext2 a lot this week.

more looking at past works and other stimulating texts. and i also started writing my script, based on what i had learned ont hat script writing website.

oh but today i was directed to talk to some people at catholic universities, since i wanna enquire about catholic stuff. stuff like taht, and looking up interpretations of the bible. also i've got my actors it hink, just need to check about setting and one more actor..

i'll just takeabout today's seminars since i can't think of what to talk about.

frame story - basically a story within a story. different to like a flashback or whatever, coz the inner story can be a story on its own with no connection to the outside story, but it can be symbolic within that story or whatnot.

magical realism - different to fantasy, or stories where the human protagonist enters the fantasy world. fantasy tends to create whole new worlds etc in depth, and they go for long. whereas magical realism takes reality and fantasy invades it. the story is still realistic otherwise, and the "magical" part might be considered like a hallucination or something.

ambiguity - this was my seminar. talking about how an expression can be interpreted in obscure or multiple ways. different interpretations of the same word or phrase for example, or not being specific (ie. it can be anything) segmantic ambiguity basically, has many many possibilities.

humour in speeches - there's many forms, they're all in ext2 folder. it is used to appeal to audience, but isn't always necessary. it can be used to leave an impression etc.

stream of conciousness - moreorless a rant, just writing about what's going on in the mind. it's like first-person narration but focusing on the mind and what's going on inside rather than events happening outside.

it's a little late to be doing my first draft script now, but i'm just glad i started. i know that i can film during the holidays though, i know i can. i've been pressed for time before, this is nothing. i still have time to get up.

ext2 (0309) - day 13: location

time is ticking. i need to get a wriggle on.

for the past week it's mainly been about getting the finer details of what i want with my movie.

for the past two days i've gone to fairfield and cabramatta after school respectively, to visit nearby catholic churches upon suggestion of one of my peers. and some that i hven't been to, others have sent me pictures of their local churches. it gave me a good look around, and made me think if i want something more modern-looking or traditional. also, lighting and colour scheme was an issue.

as i had discussed with my fellow ext2 buddie/s previous, getting on site relaly did inspire me more. i now have a better idea of shots i could use, be they in these places or elsewhere.

i think, the one i still favour, however, is the one in ingleburn. since it's a familiar place to me, it would be much easier for me to make organizations and plans to film there, and the original place in mind when i first wrote descriptive sections for this particular story was based on that church.

i'm gonna have to make sure my actors can get to these places on the day/s that we set to film. i think i have my two main protagonists set, and i've considered possible supporting actors, and shots to use. the shots wouldn't be direct, so perhaps it would be easier for me to ask someone if they know they're not really going to be in it.

costuming was an issue as well. i've taken into consideration the uniforms that these people wear, and how they wear it. plus, any extra things, or mcguffins and/or significant objcets.

i figure that the movie should no longer start at the station, but in front of some kind of bathroom mirror. at this point, luke will remove his.. mcguffin.. whatever it be (it'll be something in common with stella's) and he'll slip it into her pocket at the station before they part. ill have shots of both of their.. ornaments to show that connection of theirs. in the end, when stella finds it in her pocket, that's what makes her turn around and think. that reminds me, i have to ask if that's a good idea.. coz all i did was ask about if talking about reasoning for filming in certain places was a good idea..

well i have to see the teacher tomorrow anyway to get another major work to see, at that point i must also remember to ask to get in contact with this mentor person.

this is getting kind of late.. i just noticed that.. we're pretty much halfway through already. eep.. i'm scared now.

nonetheless, we went through another 4 seminars today:

second person POV, that was an interesting conversation, about putting the reader into the story, instead of just making them intimately aware of a particular protagonist's thoughts and feelings. i related second-person narration to subjective camera positioning, where the camera sees what the audience/character sees (eg camera lens getting "punchedin the face")

diction was another. this talked about level of language, how to distinguish, and how this can be used to create different personas. this can come especially handy for me. i'd be on the right track of making solid characters if i can write a dialogue between them without using names and the reader is still able to tell what's going on.

allegory is like a story that represents an idea or concept. we drew the line between allegory and analogy by saying that analogy is an example of something whilst explaining. the example for allegory that was used was that of "old chinese guy" and his philosophies.

"show and tell" was the theme of the fourth and final seminar, talking about how it's more effective language use to describe what happened instead of just saying it upfront. for me this is particularly important i suppose, since i have to be able to convey my story without narration (well i could narrate it but i guess it wouldnt be as good)

so i still have to watch those movies that people suggested.. and gosh the list builds on.

somehow by the end of the term i SHOULD have this all scripted and storyboarded already.. and with these 2 weeks then half yearlies 2 weeks after.. gosh it's going to be hectic. i dunno how i'm going to manage.. but i HAVE to script SOMEhow if i want to film in the holidays. i mean.. it's understandable that i can just script it during the holidays when i have more time.. but no.. i want as much feedback as possible before the break.

so i better kick things into gear.

tomorrow i might go to ingleburn to get on set there, perhaps for now i'll just script it to be able to mold to any of these locations, which are basicaly the same anyway. the teacher suggested i target the minimum time, and i agree. coz it could stretch for longer (i've learned that from previous experience)

well i have to get busy.. and balance my time with other things too.

this really is a highly organized subject..

First post... MY CRAPPY TIPS

First post ><

Okay firstly, my rule of studying is always looking at your syllabus dot points. Goes without saying but handy yeah.

Next practice paper questions... A lot of them... Like seriously... like 100x

[edit] Oh and bored of studies :) forgot them :)

I know the above isn't that useful but I'll wanted quote from Mr. GEE (baby baby baby)

'Don't SAVE'

Basically share notes and past papers...

I have a nice handy pile of physics and chem and 4U, that my parents brought. Anyone wants me to photocopy some questions. Especially 4U (I'm going thru on to check answers... I'll print out copy for our whole group doing 4U)

Oh Batehup, I'll will post some notes on Standard :)

ext2 (0302) - day 12: discussion

for the past week.. i've been contemplating my position here in ext2. the viva voce results really surprised me and put me down. i started to think i couldn't handle this, and as a result, couldn't handle making movies in general, since i always figured this was my best route to it.

last tuesday, after i got home from ext2, while i was walking my dog.. i noticed the usual things. different houses; different people. within each house was a different family, and within each family a number of people. each person had their own story, whether it be told or not, and somehow people would link up somewhere outside that house. that's something i always like to show in my work.. how people are connected.

something else hit me though.. watching my dear pet scavenge around in the grass.. it made me think of animal symbolism. that put the image in my head.. of the tiger. some proverb that i've heard before said that the only ancient beast which could compete against the tiger was the dragon. i was thinking perhaps i could look up this myth and its origins, and possibly use it. maybe the roots.. asian.. oriental. made me think about the taoist ways of yin and yang. something i had researched once before, but not in total depth.

alternatively.. since my protagonist is catholic, i thought maybe i could use biblical references. that's when my revelation made me think of the book of revelation. there's a lot of crazy stuff going on in there, and i've already read that book at least.. i can just do it again. coz i need to show more research and stronger concept.. or perhaps my research should be focused on camera angles and other directors.. which i thought of today.

over the week.. at first i assumed that i was going to drop out of ext2, since i didnt think i could do the work.. but on the weekend i amde the realization that i can and will. if i can make my own work.. i can make this one. instead of trying to fit my movie to what they want, im gonna fit what they want to my movie XD im gonna decide what they want.. they are gonna like my movie. coz if i want to i can make something mad.. and i do want to.. so lets go.

i've often been pessimistic about things.. and organization isn't my strongest skill.. but i'm innovative.. and i'm dedicated.. so i know that i can do this.. these barriers just scare me is all.. but nonsense.. i can do what i want first, then teachers can tell me if i need to fix it up more so that it fits into the barriers better.

i realized today in ext1 that alfred hitchcock is a genius, and his camera techniques are an inspiration for me, and what i should do. so i will actually dig into the work of alfred hitchcock. likewire, i'll look further into adam elliot for his views about characterization, plot and concept. looking into directors is a fine idea i reckon.

also, the people i met at the ext2 workshop apparently have connections to potential mentors. to add on to this.. i remembered a past student who is doing film in uni right now, and i have contacted her and perhaps i can get some help from her too. any help is good help i suppose, the more audiences i appeal to the better.

so today we had seminars from 3 of the people in my class. one talked about omniscient narrators, one talked about foreshadowing, and the other talked about unnamed protagonists.

im not going to get into detail.. since im getting quite tired.. but these are all techniques that i could use for my own work. similarly.. i thought of what my seminar will be, thanks to a discussion with someone in my class about ambiguity. by not naming the issue the two are fighting about, it could be anything, and because it could be anything, the focus isn't on what she did or why, but the fact that she did. also it leaves the responders wondering what exactly it was that she did.. and/or leave it to their imagination.

talkinga bout it.. i've been able to think more about setting, camera techniques and plot things.. which i've recorded all in my book. i think that's all for now.

i'm gonna dive right in soon and try write a first draft, or at least make a storyboard. that way it can be checked etc, and by the time we get to the holidays we can film!

ext2 (0223) - day 11: results

hurray for ext2 eng -.-

another lesson of wondering what to do, another hour or so sitting around.

this time it was in anticipation of our marks, marks that only people who did something got.

at this stage i'm just wondering.. what.. coz i really.. dont know. i'm just lost now.. especially after that.

here i thought everything was peachy.

so apparently i should've put every little exact thing into my journal.. who was the moron who said that it had hardly any impact on our mark -.-

i dont know and what i'm supposed to post right now, if anything it's more a reflection than anything else productive.

same thoughts and pondering as usual, my post-ext2 dog walk has led me into wondering about the kind of people who live in the houses i see. but perhaps none of this stuff is actually relevant or useful -.-

looking at my dog made me think of animal references. i thought instnatly.. of toraodora. the battle between tiger and dragon. perhaps i could look this up, and base my thing around that.. make it full oriental.

kind of goes against luke's catholicism though.. unless the one who's telling him about this thing, this lesson of yin and yang is a taoist.

then i'd have to look up the mechanics of taoism.

but i dont know.. i really dont know if now's the time to start doing these things.. something i shoulda done before.. but i can't look back.. only forward.

i can write some kind of script or storyboard by the end of the term, hell i can write one by the end of tomorrow. but as discussed last week.. it's about doing it.. not thinking it.

ext2 (0216) - day 10: viva voce

umm.. i dont know what i can say

i mean i knwo i'm uploading this stuff late but yeah.

today was our viva voces and everyone was stressing. i wasnt though.. i figured it was just talking.. i was jsut wroried i'd forget somehting i wanted to say.

it went fine though.. at least conversation was sustainable etc.. i'm pretty sure i went ok.. hopefully anyway.. seemed alright.

an issue was that i always plan and never act.. "perfectionism" is what one of the teachers pointed out.. and that it is a root of procrastination. bad things. bad things.

i realized though.. after i left to go home.. that i'm at my most.. reflective, motivated and inspired right after a lesson.

i mean i can see everything as if it were a film, with bgm and everything.. and it's got that feel.. the same atmosphere that i want in my movie.. the "going home" vibe, but with that bit of random distress.

maybe one of these days i should bring my camera and just film whatever randomly on the way home.. i dunno..

but yeah.. good stuff. it's probably the best time to do something or whatnot.

ext2 (0209) - day 9: preparation

today, we all had our one-on-one talks with the teacher in preparation for our viva voces next week.

i was pretty much left til last.

so in the meantime, i got some "actors" to help me go through my old scripts, and i even wrote a new script in a random 10min.

stimulus stimulus.

here's the thing, these characters: luke and stella have even more depth in them than the "characters" in my major work.

i'm considering making them the main characters, but perhaps either tweaking them, or tweaking the plot around them.

but while tlaking to the teacher, i noticed some of my bigger issues.

i need to look at past works more, like finished products. i need to see what i'm up against and what's expected of me.

my journal has to be more organized man, i need to acutally make an annotated bibliography to put in.

setting is an issue. i mean i can film anywhere, but i need to think about what builds onto the scene.

and i need good actors. i realized today that it will take time for them to get what i want them to do.

being a director is gonna be frustrating.

but lately i've been re-connecting with people from that workshop, it's a good thing i guess to be connected, someone to talk to, and get ideas etc.

must keep moving forward.

time is of the essence.

seems dodgy now, but we'll make it.

ext2 (0202) - day 8: considerations

oh the horror of a blank lesson.

i was braindead, especially the day before camp, that's all i could think about.

i got some reading done though, i forget what the name of it was, the one based in germany. that script-ish thing.

but aarrgh! viva is next week (2 weeks from when i was MEANT to post this) and EEP!

im not ready.

and its not for the talking, its for what to talk about.

i dont even know if i wanna keep my story.

if its good or not.

maybe to be safe i'll keep it.

if i as gonna change anything though, it'd be what the issue/argument was.

but yeah, i'd keep the thing, and i think my line would be "conflicting perspectives" or if i have to, "intersections and oppositions" since i found out today we can do yr11 topics too.

i need to watch more movies etc for inspiration. shoulda done that today.. meh

ext2 (1208) - day 7: workshop 1

apparently the first workshop of two.

it was acutally good.

we got a lowdown on plagiarising and how things are marked. we're not compared to other people, we're compared to the marking criteria, despite having many or no other people diong our area of work.

interesting exercise today.. 10min of non-stop writing.

i dunno if it was meant to be creative or reflective, i ended up doing 2 scripts.

apparently they turned out pretty well. and like.. i wrote a page and a half approx in 10min, like a bit less. so i SHOULD be able to write 6 pages in 40min just like ms sproule said about ext1 people. i guess that's what happens when you write without thinking.

dont think.. thats one of the rules about creative writing, even essay writing.

any ideas.. just get it down.

well with creative writing, dont hold back.. let it all out, lose control, dont stop once your hand starts moving. there are other rules, check book for details.

met other people too, interesting to meet someone doing radio drama, the only one there, and i was the only one doing film.

i'm curious to see their story/ies though.

my journal was checked, im on the right track so far, and i handed in my statement of intention of my story, the one about two people and their parents getting married. in the end i decided the concept to be how differently people see things differnetly.

anyway.. its late.. im sleepy.. late post..

should hit the hay.

cant rmeember other stuff

ext2 (1201) - day 6: perspective

y'know i noticed something last night after i wrote my story for this week. i realize that i write a lot of.. reflective things. all these stories i've written so far for ext2, they've all been reflective! i dunno if that's good or bad, it seems bad.. it's like the only way i can get a story that i think is "good" is by immersing myself in it, which usually draws from my own experience, and ends up being more reflective than narrative.

even if its not based on reality, the outcome is still usually something reflective. i also noticed earlier today, that i'm not that great with talking like other people, other personas. everyone i write about generally speaks the same, coz it's my way of telling a story, but i should learn to create other characters out of nowhere. real characters.

hmm how annoying.. today we talked about "the kiss" and "the chosen vessel" and how different perspectives are used there. it works i suppose, whether they be anonymous or highly obvious, but i guess a good character doesn't even need naming if they're identifyable by how they talk and act.

hmm.. damn.. and that's another problem for me coz i gotta get people to act too.

apparently next week (the day of our incursion) we have to hand in our intention statement. i mean.. i knew it was coming.. and i knew this week was week 7, but it didnt hit me that we need to have an idea; a story; a title by now x_x

i sitll have nothing.. sort of.

after my cohorts read and critiqued my script "nostalgia 2" (they acutally liked it, i was surprised, they said it was realistic. i thought it wasn't.. action enough) anyway.. we went on to thinking about a plot for me.

to go with my two-way view thing, i suggested two people are together at the start, then they split up, and we cut between them on their way home, maybe even someone passes a mysterious text message, that'll leave viewers curious.

i dont know the relation between the two characters, but im thinking.. they get home and hit the computer, then shots of the screen and their conversation, where it's finally revealed what it is taht's so big that makes them all.. reflective on their way home.

im thinking.. maybe their parents are getting married, i dunno something big.. but a breakup is lame, and someone dying is overdone.

another idea that came up from someone else, is filming the day of twins, but not revealing theyre twins 'til the end of the day, where they meet and say something like "so how was your day?" *close movie* but it'd be complicated doing that last scene unless we had actual twins acting out.

the thing is though, the point of the movie would be like to show the unidentification of twins, but then their day would get boring to watch, and to make it interesting, even contrastingly different type interesting would eliminate the point of the movie, because they'd be individual characters.

anyway.. i have a week to come up with a story, i think i'll still go with my original idea. i like it. and yeah.. it'd probably be reflective and anonymous, typical of my stories -.-

ext2 (1124) - day 5: concept

in my confusion yesterday of double-day note-making, i forgot that i in fact was present at extension 2 on tuesday.

the teacher let me be coz i was unable to complete the tasks assigned coz i got sick last friday 'til monday, but at least i got to hear everyone elses.

however, if i did mine i found out it would've been lacking anyway. even though we were meant to write from the perspective of that random character again, we neeeded a concept.

the teacher explained that concept is a thematic thing, and its based on values of the time of the story, to give the story a meaning, make a comment on something, etc.

well i was told to do it anyway, even though i don't necessarily submit it.

our next task is using the setting we described last week, write about an event. and give one of the characters a voice, take their role; their persona.

also, i got to talk about my ideas for my movie more. the two ideas, either about the two peoples lives, or the one guy's life split into his past self and his present self. an issue would be time restraint. i've noticed for the other movies (i've been looking through the scripts) made, the scripts are like 7 pages, with hardly any talking.

but it's alright, i didnt wanna have much talking anyway.. but somehow i need to find a relevant and good story, and tell it within 8 minutes. hmm..

its like a minute a page approx, i need to really think about this.

first things first, if i cant think of a story for now, i'll at least look up how to write a script. that's a good starting point

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

ext2 (1117) - day 4: setting

today's lesson seemed rather brief, coz much of the time was spent afterwards with the teacher discussing withe veryone their plans for stories and whatnot.

but first we went through feedback of more stories we read over the week, and presented our stories about setting the scene.

apparently mine was better than i thought, as it appealed to all senses and integrated them (eg. as genvin said, the sound of echoes gave the room a visual appearance that it was large and empty)

good stuff i guess ^^

we have 2 tasks for next week:

the first is to critique smoeone else's work, preferably one that's been subscribed, so others know what we're tlaking about.

the second is to take on the persona of a character's (eg the one from last week) point of view and write as them.

this should be interesting.

i really should read those previous works more properly though.. it would help.

and i gained another idea for my story today.

a relatively old dude, his story, and at the same time a young boy's story. integrated of course. what we dont reveal is that they are the same person, we dont reveal this until like the end. when the child puts a book down, and the old guy picks it up after, all dusty etc. something like that.

and of course there's my original idea, which should be easier than other ideas. 2 people (around our age im guessing, coz its easier to get actors), from different schools (obviously one would be from ours to make it easier) and somehow how they are connected. i still think the idea of the web conversation is good. but i cant think of a story.. just the concept.

how frustrating.

ext2 (1110) - day 3: character

the day was pretty much dedicated to checking our many pieces of hw

to start off the day.. we talked about the random characters we encountered on the train or bus last week. i shared my story about the random girl on the train with the ipod and cosmetics bag, and though my story was mainly about figuring out what her story was, many other people assumed a story from the person they saw, which i think what the task was really asking for -.-

apparently.. i've been told that i have to start thinking as if it were a movie, even though films start with the narrative.. but i guess it makes sense... perhaps next task such as this i'll write it like a play script.

then we talked about places of inspiration this week. i talked about my encounters on niceshorts.com. strange movies there.. particularly the soviet satire one.. i didnt think that was funny.. and explained to the teacher that i now understand that what might be funny for us, wouldnt be funny for other people.

the teacher handed me a dvd to check out for next time.

we went through the A range stories and how people marked them etc, this was mainly time for the critical response people to shine. i guess it gives us a good view of what kind of work we should be doing to get into that A range, even if some people do find it weird.

ooh i smell dinner. smells like victory.

oh and on that note.. yesterday when someone asked about describing smells when setting the scene, smells are generally associated with taste, so words such as sweet or sour could work. poems such as "country towns" are good sources for inspiration on setting, any good poem is i suppose.. i remember reading one about london in the early morning that was excellent.

our task for next week is to describe something, a setting, so its all imagery.. this should be good for me, i can do this kind of stuff. im thinking of describing somewhere quiet and meant to be peaceful, like a church.. like last year when a friend of mine stepped in for the first time in years

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

ext2 (1103) - day 2: inspiration

after going through what we can expect over the next few terms.. we began talking about where we've been getting inspiration over the past week.

a lot of people read books, coz thats what they're meant to do, but me i said my inspiration came from mary & max.

i still dont know what to do about my story.

should i really go for one of those touching-ish stories like that peek-a-boo one? or should i go for something funny?

dont know..

in an attempt to ask ms what NOT to do.. as in in terms of it being crap, she just said dont do teenage romance. i was gonna do some kind of teenage connectiont hing, but i dunno about romance, i was more gonna do some kind of outer-school connection thing, inspired by mary & max, and my own experience with friends outside of school.

she also said not to do things coz we're not really meant to: rape, suicide, drugs, all that dodgy stuff.

but yeah.. we had to try describe random people we saw on the train/bus in the next week, and i wrote my story about the first person i saw, a girl from all saints casula? i didnt even know there WAS an all saints in casula, but yeah.. at least i did my hw already.. less to worrya bout.

oh and apparently i should check out a site known ass

niceshorts.com.au

ext2 (1027) - day 1: getting the geist

today was basically finding out what we're going to do more or less.

for me.. i've settled with the idea that i'm going to write a script. that way, it can go either way.. i can change to a short story if that's what i feel i should do, or i can actually make the movie if i can and i have actors etc.

i should start looking up short films to watch, trailers and music videos can also be inspiration as i have asked.. but i've been challenged to watch the music videos without sound. an interesting concept.

i currently have no REAL idea of plot or whatver.. but apparently i can write in my journal like i do here, just talking to myself. that's good then. note to self.. i actaully need a journal first.

but yes.. i think i'm gonna start soon by watching "peek a boo" and "yellow fever"

good stuff.

ext2 isnt as intimidating.. this should be seen as an awesome subject, not a reluctant subject. today i was just tired and sleepy.. and it's late now so i should hit the hay.
